On March 28, 2025, our team participated in the Interreg GO! 2025 Annual event.
This conference was a significant milestone in preparing for the future post-2027 Interreg programs. For 35 years, Interreg has been a cornerstone of European integration, promoting cooperation across borders, transnationally, interregional, and outermost regions to foster growth, innovation, and inclusion throughout Europe.
Our team attended the morning plenary session at the Teatro Verdi in Gorizia, Italy. In the afternoon, we participated in a parallel session focused on Disaster Risk Management at the Municipal Building in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The event concluded with institutional speeches and symbolic activities at Trg Evrope-Piazza Transalpina, where participants collectively unfolded a flag of Europe in the cross-border square.
These days provided an opportunity to explore the spatial transformations of the conurbation during the European Capital of Culture 2025 year, which encompasses cross-border public transport, culture-led urban regeneration projects, and a jointly rebranded emerald-green urban identity.
