The volume Il Trattato del Quirinale: nuovi orizzonti per la cooperazione transfrontaliera italo-francese presents the state of the art and future prospects of Italian–French cross-border cooperation. Through analyses developed with various disciplinary approaches (law, geography, spatial planning, political science), the chapters composing this collective work recount, from different perspectives, the tools and experiences that have shaped cross-border cooperation between institutions and local communities along the Italian–French border within the broader framework of European integration. The volume also offers perspectives and reflections for the future, particularly in light of the signing of the Quirinale Treaty in November 2021, which includes specific provisions dedicated to cross-border cooperation. The volume is in Italian; a French-language version is currently in publication.
